Day 1 : from Fes to Merzoga

Our tour destination will be the southeastern Sahara oases, which start at 8 AM after meeting with the driver, passing by a range of different tourist areas and places, such as the Middle Atlas mountains.

“ Ifrane “ which is known as the Switzerland city of Morocco, is situated on the northwestern slope of the Middle Atlas at 1630 meters above the water level, also it is the headquarters of the famous university “ Al Akhawayn “founded in 1995 according to the architect ‘ Michelle Jansu ‘, and that is not the only thing that granting the global knowledge to the city, there is also the carve of Lion stone which sculpted in 1930.

On our path to our destination, we find also the city of “ Azrou “ which is no less known than Ifrane with its remarkable views of dense forests of cedar trees, therefore if we are lucky to find monkeys while we continue our route through the cedar woods.

After break time for the launch in a local restaurant in Medilt, we will continue our Sahara tour along the spectacular Zizz Valley. You will notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert. At the same time, we approach ERRachidia City, stopping for panoramic views along the way. We will pass by Erfoud city known for its dry red built by the ranch as a central administration town, also has one of the most pleasing routes in the southeastern, not to forget how rich it is with the black marble fossils, the stones sculpted to bring fossils into relief on everything from ashtrays to washbasins and more.

our last station will be the spectacular Merzouga where we have a new and different experience in dunes of sand that signify the start of the mighty Sahara desert, we leave the vehicles so you can get a camel ride into the dunes, and why not surf the Sahara desert and try the boarding in dunes.

After dinner, we gather around the fire and enjoy the night with others perhaps with a little traditional Berber drums.

Day 2 : Around Merzoga

After breakfast in the riad, you will start an explorative journey of the area, by using a Quad bike which is a great chance to ride one If you never have one, you’ll take a trek that lasts for one hour across the Erg-Chebbi dunes. then we go to the association of Gnawa and hear and enjoy music from another dimension. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga known with its beautiful birds. You may also have the chance to visit the souk of Rissani village (traditional market) Then we go back to Merzouga to go to the camp riding camels inside the sand sea of Erg-Chebbi.

Day 3 : from Merzoga to Fes

After breakfast in the village of Merzouga, you will admire the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes. you’ll leave for Fes through Ziz Valley, first Erfoud is known for its fossils. Then the Ziz Gorges provide a rocky passage brought to Tafilalt oases.

Passing by Errachidia, our journey continues alongside the trailing edge of the Cedar Forest to – Mishlifane – which in the local Berber means “rock,-located up a steep hill through a variety of woods to the famed cedar forests inhabited by endangered Barbary Apes. The next stop is Ifran a Tidy, ordered and modern city, that feels more like Switzerland relocated to the Middle Atlas mountains.
