Itinerary Overview

In this Itinerary of 7 Days From Fes To Fes, you will be diving a little bit into Moroccan History by Exploring More About the Imperial Cities of Fes and Marrakech, Also get to enjoy new experiences through the stunning landscapes, Moroccan Hospitality, and unforgettable desert Sahara( Golden Dunes).

 

Itinerary Program : 

Day 1 : from Fes to Midelt

After breakfast in your riad, you will leave towards the southeast following the Caravan roads to Midlet. During this journey, you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at the largest forest of  Cedar trees over the Middle Atlas, where you may see some  Monkeys. After lunch in Azrou or Ifran . we’ll continue to Midlt.  The Overnight at your accommodation hotel.

Day 2 : from Midelt to Merzoga

We go from Midlet to Merzouga, one of the Berber villages that are scattered beside  Erg-chebbi. before we reach to Merzouga, we will pass through several villages and cities like Errachidia, Aoufous,  Erfoud, and Rissani.

After  we get a break in Merzouga, we will  ride camels  to go the camp into Erg-chebbi  where we will  spend the night , and experience how it is camping in dunes look like . and  we will have the chance to enjoy the view  of sunset  in our way to the camp .

Day 3 : Around Merzoga

Early in the morning, we will wake you up to go see and enjoy this remarkable view of the sunrise. Then you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chabbi dunes.

We go back to the hotel to get breakfast, shower, and get some rest, so we can begin another adventure in the dunes of sand, but this time we will use the quad bike for one hour. After you’ll visit the Gnawa people and enjoy their spectacular music. Then we go to Rissai town especially the Souk, a great large traditional market. get lunch there then we go back to the hotel.

Day 4 : from Merzouga to Dades Valley

Have a traditional breakfast before we take the route towards Boumalne where you’ll stay the night, pass through clusters of palm trees and Berber villages towards the Todra Gorges. Walk up the Gorge and enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by such splendor views. See how locals live their lives as you pass by some shepherds on the way to Boulmane.

Day 5 : from Dades Valley to Marrakesh

After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive through The Dades Valley,  known as the  Road of 1000 Kasbahs. We’ll stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city” famous for its annual festival of roses. Continuing to Skoura passing by a lo of Kasbahs made of mud brick and Oaurzazat the  “Hollywood of Africa”  where some of the famous movies had been filmed ( Sheltering Sky, Gladiator, and Prince of Persia).

Afterward, we’ll drive to   Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of the most beautiful Kasbahs in the area. it has magnificent views of the surrounding palms. Before heading to Marrakech via the Tizi n’tichka path we’ll stop to visit the town of Telouet and its ancient 17th century Kasbah.

Day 6 : Exploring Marrakesh

After breakfast, you will go ou to discover the Red City of Morocco “Marrakech “ with a local guide. Your guide will ensure that you see all the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the Koutoubia Menara, the beautiful Palace of Bahia, and the”  Ben  Youssef   “School.

Finally, end the morning by walking through the medina alleys and get the chance to admire all of the different artisans’ work before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square to enjoy watching different people doing what we call “ Lhal9a “. 

 Lunch at a restaurant near the square. Then in the afternoon visit the Majorelle Gardens, and have a short tour at Gueliz. After dinner, you will have the option to walk through the square and get some entertainment from the magicians, storytellers, and food sellers.

Day 7 : Fes Airport

After breakfast, Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
