Itinerary Program :
After breakfast in your Riad, you will leave towards the southeast, following the Caravan roads to Midlet. You’ll take glimpses of the Middle Atlas and the Higher Atlas mountains during this journey. We’ll stop at the largest cedar forest in Morocco and hopefully get to meet some Barbarian monkeys. After lunch in Azrou or Ifran. We’ll continue to Midelt to spend the Night in your accommodation.
On our second day of our 7-day Sahara desert trip, we will go from Midelt to the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. While we make our way to Errachidia city, You Will notice villages scattered along the way and also notice hints of the beginning of the Sahara oasis of Tafilalet.
After reaching Merzouga, relax for a few minutes. Then we go for our new adventure on the back of a dromedary, which will be waiting for us to launch on an exciting adventure in the dunes towards the camp.
While we make our way to the camp, we will also enjoy and see one of the most beautiful sunsets, which is a great opportunity to take some lovely pictures. We will spend the night in a desert camp (Nomad Berber tents) with drum music.
After having breakfast, we will get ready to start an explorative journey of the area, by using a Quad bike, which is a great chance to ride one if you have never one, in a trek that lasts about one hour across the Erg-Chebbi dunes. Then we will head to the association of Gnawa to enjoy a piece of spiritual music from another dimension.
Not far away, there’s the lake of Merzouga, known with its beautiful birds. If time permits, we may also have the chance to visit the souk of Rissani village (traditional market), and then we will go back to Merzouga to spend the night at the camp.
We will wake up early in the morning to enjoy the stunning sunrise of the Sahara desert, and its amazing peaceful vibes. We will have our traditional tasty breakfast with our Desert family at the camp, and have a nice shower to freshen up for the day’s adventure.
We will then start our journey towards our first stop in Rissani to visit the Souk, one of the biggest traditional markets in Morocco. Then we will continue to the famous Todra Gorges, the favorite place for rock climbers. Overnight will be in our last destination, Dades Valley.
On the last day of our five-day trip from Fes, we will head to Marrakech. On the way, we will visit Ouarzazate, Morocco’s Hollywood, where many movies have been filmed. We will then pass by the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO Heritage ). Then, we will continue driving through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass to get to Marrakech.
