Itinerary Program :
After breakfast, we will leave towards the southeast to Midlet. In this journey, we will see glimpses of the Middle and Higher Atlas mountains. We will stop at the largest cedar forest in Morocco near Azrou, and hopefully, we will get to meet some Barbarian macaques. After lunch in Azrou or Ifran. We’ll continue to Midelt to spend the Night in your accommodation.
On our second day of this journey, we will go from Midelt to the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. While we make our way to Errachidia city, you will start to notice hints of the Sahara oasis of Tafilalet.
After reaching Merzouga, take a break. We will go for our new adventure riding camels, making our way through the sand dunes towards the camp.
On our way to the camp, we will make a stop at the top of the dunes to enjoy and see one of the most beautiful sunsets, which is a great opportunity to take some lovely pictures. We will spend the night in a desert camp (Nomad Berber tents) with drum music.
Our journey will start with an early wake-up to catch one of the most beautiful sunrises in the world. After breakfast, we will get ready to start our explorative journey in the area, using Quad bikes. Our Quad trek will last about one hour across the Erg-Chebbi dunes.
Our next destination will be the Gnawa association in Khamlia, where we will enjoy spiritual music and dance to the rhythm with the Gnawa Family. Not far away, there’s the lake of Merzouga, known with its beautiful birds.
We may also have the chance to visit the souk of Rissani village (traditional market), and then we will head back to Merzouga to spend the night at the camp.
We will wake up early in the morning to enjoy the stunning sunrise of the Sahara desert, and its amazing peaceful vibes. We will have our traditional tasty breakfast with our Desert family at the camp, and have a nice shower to freshen up for the day’s adventure.
We will then start our journey towards our first stop in Rissani to visit the Souk, one of the biggest traditional markets in Morocco. Then we will continue to the famous Todra Gorges, a hot spot for rock climbers. Dinner and overnight in our last destination, Dades Valley.
Our destination for today will be the red city of Marrakech. On the way, we will make a visit to Morocco’s Hollywood; Ouarzazate, where many movies have been filmed. We will then pass by the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO Heritage ). Then, we will continue driving through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass to get to Marrakech.
After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning guided tour of Marrakech, “the Red City of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure that you see all the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the Koutoubia, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace …
You will also get to walk through the medina alleys and get the chance to admire all of the different artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square to enjoy watching different people doing what we call “ Lhal9a “.
We will start our journey of 8 days towards Essaouira or Mogador, as it has been called. Upon arrival in Essaouira, you will get to explore some of the most beautiful sights, Such as the fishing port of Essaouira, Moulay Hassan Square, and Skala Kasbah, and more to discover on the way.
At lunchtime, it would be a great opportunity to try some of the tasty seafood from Moroccan cuisine at a seaside restaurant.
Later on, you’re gonna get a chance to set foot on Essaouira’s beautiful beaches, and why not have a ride along the beach, or maybe do some kitesurfing.
Later in the late afternoon, you will meet the driver to hit the road back to Marrakech, and your day excursion from Marrakech to Essaouira will end with a drop-off at your hotel or Jamaa Lafna.
Don’t forget Your Camera to capture the beautiful sunset over the Atlantic Ocean before departing from Essaouira
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some free time in Marrakech for last-minute shopping or sightseeing.
Then transfer you to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departure.
