Itinerary Overview 

In this Itinerary of 6 Days From Fes To Marrakesh, you will be diving a little bit into Moroccan History by Exploring More About the Imperial Cities of Fes and Marrakech, Also get to enjoy new experiences through the stunning landscapes, Moroccan Hospitality, and unforgettable desert Sahara( Golden Dunes).

 

Itinerary Program : 

Day 1 : from Fes to Merzoga

 Our trip launches adventure from Fez to Merzouga  Sahara desert, via the gorgeous city of Ifrane in the Middle Atlas. known for its alpine-style architecture near the ski slope and forests. Just outside the city, there is Ain Vittel then we will stop in the cedar forest where we might find local Monkeys.

After lunch, we going to continue our trip to Erfoud, the village known for its dry red buildings which is one of the hints of the  Sahara desert.  then to Mrezouga where you will have the chance to enjoy the spectacular view of the sunset after relaxing and have a glass of mint tea.

Day 2 : Around Merzoga

After breakfast in the riad, you will start an explorative journey of the area, by using a Quad bike which is a great chance to ride on If you never have one, you’ll take a trek that lasts for one hour across the Erg-Chebbi dunes. 

Then we go to the association of Gnawa and hear and enjoy a piece of music from another dimension. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga known with its beautiful birds. You may also have the chance to visit the souk of  Rissani village (traditional market) Then we go back to Merzouga to go to the camp riding camels within the sand sea of  Erg-Chebbi.

Day 3 : Merzouga to Dades Valley

   Your camel guide will wake you up to see what may be the best sunrise in your life. After breakfast and a hot shower in the Camp, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular dunes of Erg Chabbi.

You’ll get the route towards Boumalne where you’ll stay the night, and pass through clusters of palm trees and Berber villages towards the Todra Gorges. You will feel small when the gigantic walls of grey and amber rocks surround you,  Walk up the Gorge and enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by such splendor views. See how locals live their lives as you pass by some shepherds on the way to Boulmane.

Day 4 :Dades Valley to Marrakesh

 After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive through The Dades Valley,  known as the  Road of 1000 Kasbahs. We’ll stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city” famous for its annual festival of roses. Continuing to Skoura passing by a lot of Kasbahs made of mud brick and Oaurzazat the  “Hollywood of Africa”  where some of the famous movies had been filmed ( Sheltering Sky, Gladiator, and Prince of Persia).

Afterward, we’ll drive to   Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of the most beautiful Kasbahs in the area. it has magnificent views of the surrounding palms. Before heading to Marrakech via the Tizi n’tichka path we’ll stop to visit the town of Telouet and its ancient 17th-century Kasbah.

Day 5 : Discovering Marrakesh

After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning guided tour of Marrakech “the Red City of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure that you see all the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the Koutoubia, the Saadian tombs; the beautiful Palace of Bahia, and the”  Ben  Youssef   “School. Finally, end the morning by walking through the medina alleys and get the chance to admire all of the different artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square to enjoy watching different people doing what we call “ Lhal9a “. 

Lunch at a restaurant near the square. Then in the afternoon visit the Majorelle Gardens, and have a short tour at Gueliz. After dinner, you will have the option to walk through the square and get some entertainment from the magicians, storytellers, and food sellers.

Day 6 : Free time in Marrakesh / Departure from Marrakech

Morning: Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some free time in Marrakech for last-minute shopping or sightseeing.

Afternoon: Transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departure.
