The tour uses comfortable and air-conditioned vehicles, and perfect for small or private groups.
We usually use modern 4×4 SUVs or minivans, depending on the group size and the terrain. For off-road parts of the trip, like in the desert, we use strong 4×4 vehicles to make sure everyone stays safe and comfortable.

You can choose to take this tour as a private or shared experience, depending on your preference.
A private tour gives you a more personal experience with flexible timing and a customized plan. A shared tour means you’ll travel with a small group of travellers, which is a great way to meet others and keep costs lower. Just make sure to let the tour operator know your preference when you make your booking.

  •  Group tours are cheaper but less flexible.
  • Private tours offer more comfort and stop at your own pace.

The distance between Merzouga and Fes is about 462 kilometers, and the drive usually takes 7 to 8 hours. A journey full of interesting stops and great photo opportunities, and you’ll enjoy beautiful views of changing landscapes, from desert golden dunes to green valleys, mountains, and forests.

The camel ride in the afternoon for sunset is about 1 hour to 1,5 hours, and about 1 hour in the Morning for sunrise. Depending on the route and the pace of the camels. This ride offers you plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful desert views and a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Sahara desert.

If you prefer not to ride a camel, there’s usually another way to reach the desert camp. You can choose to go by 4×4 vehicle instead. It’s quicker and more comfortable, especially if you find camel riding difficult or not right for you.
