After a hearty breakfast, we will head out to meet up with your local guide to explore Fes Sights. You will visit the impressive Al Quaraouiyine University, wander through the narrow lanes of the ancient Medina, and marvel at colorful tanneries and historic madrasas. Today we will leave Fes early and drive through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll pass by charming towns like Ifrane and cedar forests near Azrou, hoping to spot playful Barbary monkeys. Continuing our journey, we’ll see landscapes gradually transform into palm groves and rocky plateaus as we approach the edge of the Sahara. By late afternoon, we will reach Merzouga. Here begins our desert adventure.

We’ll ride camels over the golden dunes to watch a breathtaking sunset, then spend the night in a cozy Berber camp under the stars, enjoying local music and a delicious dinner.

We will wake up early to witness the magic of the sunrise over the dunes before enjoying breakfast at camp. Today we’ll explore the Merzouga region, visiting Khamlia village to listen to the rhythmic Gnawa music. We may also meet nomadic families or visit the seasonal lake of Merzouga, where we might spot flamingos. In the afternoon, you could try sandboarding or simply relax and enjoy the serene desert vibes. We’ll spend another enchanting night in our desert camp, sharing stories under a star-filled sky.

After breakfast and a warm farewell to the desert, we’ll travel through Rissani, famous for its traditional market. From there, we will continue to the impressive Todra Gorges, where we’ll have time to walk along the towering canyon Rocks and enjoy the fresh mountain air. By late afternoon, we’ll reach Dades Valley, a region known for its stunning rock formations and ancient kasbahs. We’ll settle into our hotel and enjoy a hearty dinner, ready for more adventures tomorrow.

As we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views. By evening, we’ll arrive in the vibrant red city of Marrakech and check into our charming riad.
